Pursuing a striking personal style, Concordia MFA Photography graduate James Rae has exhibited and published internationally. His fine art photographs are included in several public and private collections, including the Canada Council Art Bank and the Canadian Ministry of External Affairs. With the main body of his work exploring imagery through black and white prints (more soon to be posted on this website) James Rae has traveled widely.

His recent work explores color through digital images, some of which are seen here, without neglecting his incessant passion for black and white as expressed in silver gelatin prints.

Further recent explorations include short films delving into photographic themes, such as Lost in the no-zone and Combustible. For a full CV or more information, please contact James Rae.
